How to add CAPTCHA to LearnDash

What is LearnDash?
LearnDash is the most widely used learning management system for WordPress. It turns a WordPress site into a course platform with lessons, quizzes, certificates and drip-fed content, and is used by universities, training providers and independent course creators.
Course sites are a favourite target for automated signups. A free course with an open registration form is a cheap way for a bot to obtain a real account on a real domain — which it then uses to post spam, scrape paid content, or burn through your email-sending quota with confirmation messages nobody asked for.

How to integrate Prosopo Procaptcha with LearnDash
Install the Prosopo WordPress plugin
Register for a free account on Prosopo
Login to the Prosopo dashboard, and copy your site key and secret key
- Add your domain in the Prosopo dashboard, if it is not already present
- Add your site key and secret key to the Prosopo WordPress plugin settings. You can find them in Site Management in the Prosopo dashboard.
That is all the registration form needs. As soon as both plugins are active, the LearnDash registration form is protected — there is no per-form switch to find. To confirm it is running, open the "Active Integrations" tab of the Procaptcha settings and check that "LearnDash LMS" is listed.
For the LearnDash login and password recovery forms, switch to the "Core forms" tab and enable "Protect the login form" and "Protect the lost password form". Both forms submit through the native WordPress flow, so those are the toggles that cover them.
Save the settings and every account form on your LMS is covered. A rejected registration is reported through LearnDash's own error list, so learners see the failure in the same place as any other registration error.
